Fred Smith Jr. Named Mr. Basketball
Congrats to Fred Smith, Jr. for being named Mr. Basketball. He was recognized as the top boys hoops player in the state of Tennessee in D2-AA in 2025.
Fred becomes the fifth Briarcrest player in history to earn this honor, and this marks the eighth time overall the award has been won among those five standout players. 8 BCS boys hoops stars have been named finalists for the Mr. Basketball award during the program’s storied history.
